Hello! I'm really finding this all very weird... Blogging nearly everyday and whatnot. Oh, and, as usual, the dang color and all that good stuff is gone. I want to find out who did it...
I have made a very strange bet/contest/test thing with someone in my homeroom. We were arguing over something that made absolutely no sense whatsoever, and now we're in the middle of a battle of the squiggly pictures. I need to figure out what in the world happened.
Also, never try to explain the universe by using a fishbowl. The idea of the universe fitting inside one is unnerving to say the least, because that would mean another big bang was going to happen soon. Although, he meant scale the universe or something along those lines, but it's still unnerving to me. Perhaps I'm claustrophobic?... Nah!
Okey-Dokey, on to the song! This day's song, and song number three is....................................................................................
Song of the Cebu by Veggie Tales! JK, JK. But still, you have to admit it's a catchy song...that makes no sense...and talks about bulls...with random slideshows...All and all, it's a kids song!
And that reminds me. Search google pictures for dik-diks. They are these really cute antelope related species, and, well, just look! They're really cute...
Oh, right, the real song. Okay! Song numero uno es Imaginary by Evanescence. I've decided that finding the youtube videos is pointless, because at this point, I'm pretty sure you know how to use the search engine on youtube. I chose imaginary, because this used to be one of my favorite songs. Crazy to imagine how much life changes, huh? Also the picture it creates in my mind is remarkable! I wish I could take a snapshot for you all so see, but alas! I cannot :(
From the overdramatic,
Oceansurferg
Update: It was song numero tres, not uno, but I felt like it was an uno day, yah know? Maybe I should have played uno... Bye!

Song #2
Hello All! (which is probably no one)
Do I really need to mention that the ability to center, color, and all of that stuff isn't working?
Okay, I was going to do another song yesterday, but as I mentioned two days ago, I was sick. I was passed out for half the day, and had no energy to type words on a computer screen. Also, I would have posted earlier today, but I was absorbed in Eclipse, poor Jacob...
Um no more news about m'self, so best get on with the song, yeah?
Song number two is Title and Registration by Death Cab for Cutie. I'm not giving a link, because I only skimmed over the first half minuet or so, and freaked out a bit. I chose this song because I think it means renewal. I also believe it to be a great song to listen to when you're cleaning. Gives your cleaning a sense of purpose yeah?
I'm quite buggered now, honestly. This is the first time I ever read Eclipse and realized Jacob's point of view, and it's a rather confusing concept on its own, without Bella's love involved in the picture.
That's all for now

Blogging, rolos, and my friends according to Oceansurferg
Well still no color or any of that stuff. It's driving my quite bonkers that is.
I think I may be becoming a bit attached to blogging. I think it's because, with my old friends I could share my thoughts (which are extraordinarily long and complicated) and no one would interrupt or anything. But with my new friends, there are just too many of us for me to be able to do anything like that, plus when I first came into the group, it was when I didn't talk whatsoever. And, well, I just need an outlet for these clogging thoughts.
I have a runny nose. Normally I don't think much of it, but I have a headache, and when I have a headache, it means I'm sick. As long as it's in combo with something else, and not after I've just run the mile... It's all mum's fault. She went and got bronchitis (sp?). You know, my immune system's probably so good because of how often she gets sick. It has to fight viruses a lot. However, mum says she's sick when she's only sneezing.
I've decided what my new favorite candy is. Rolos. I've never really thought much of them, but they have to be the best combination ever rolled up into a candy. I got some at the mini mart today. I've had them before, but not often or anything. I'm rather glad I got them. The orange juice I'm drinking for the cold is making me hungry, and candy fills you up quick. Or, at least it's supposed to.
My book 'City of Bones' is missing. I realized it yesterday, because I went to grab it from my bag and it wasn't there. I had another book there at the time, so I just thought 'I'll look for it later'. But now it's annoying as hell because I finished the other book.
My friend said that I talk like a textbook. So not cool! I don't talk like that, do I? I thought I only wrote my essays like that. (Something that they tried to edit out of my essay for science, but you can't change someone's style of writing.) People seem to think I come off as some sort of smarty pants. I'm not really like that anymore though. Problem is that these people are so closed minded that they can't think past their first impression of me. Well, at least, they come off that way.
I want to find out what a biscuit is in British terms. I'm reading the fanfiction 'The World, Biscuits and Sirius Black according to Nellie O'Neal' Unsurprisingly a large factor in Nellie's life is her love of biscuits. Her biscuit of choice being digestives. The only thing is, well, I want to know what in the world a biscuit is! That's my only question.
Okay well, I need to go sleep, as it should lower the pain of this headache, that and I'm dead tired, as being sick tends to create people.

Song #1
Okay color and all that stuff is still gone :( but the show must go on. (Or blog, whatever...)
My first song is just to get it out of the way, (sort of). Actually, my thought process is that if I post it, it might just walk out of my mind as 'elevator music' that isn't so elevatory (yes I understand that it's not a word. Gosh!)
Now, how this is going to work. I'll leave you the song name, who it's by, and a link to the youtube video (as most don't have html codes to use). Then you will find the song on a new list in the sidebar called '100 songs to listen to (according to me)'. I'll leave the date I posted it too, that way, if you want to, you can find the post it was on.
This post's song is 'White Houses' by Vanessa Carlton. The link is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jptBn4Nek9M
The video is kind of (okay, definitely) a bit weird. But the song is why I'm posting the link.
No news really. Well except that it's another boring weekend here in the sun. Rainy seasons been over for a while, and now I'm actually getting what the difference is. It barely rains anymore, and when it does, it's hard rain.
Also, in an effort to get a certain friend to read my story that I kept sending her, here is a quote 'Wow my mind is wandering today. Need to stop eating the fruity pebbles...'
I'm posting this story on fiction press, and yet, well... This might be the first story I actually finish, and for some reason, I don't want people to read it. Weird huh? I've written enough to create three more posts to fiction press, but I haven't even updated the first one with the edits my beta made.
With nothing more to say,

100..........
Okay so the color button has disappeared which means no color :( The font button has disappeared as well...
Anyways, hello all! I've decided against doing the movie (too much work), but for those who were wondering what it was going to be, well, I'll tell you. The story I'm writing, Throwing Common Sense out the Window, written as a movie. I realized that it would be very different, and well, also, it's a bit hard to make a movie about a person who doesn't speak. So that's being thrown out the window as well...
I told my friend about another idea, and I think it's more doable. You see, I managed to convince three of my friends to read the Twilight series (Well four, but I won't give him the book, he wants to read it for pervy reasons, but that's just how he is, so we didn't think much of it). So my thought process was, let's do a podcast! Yeah, I'm a bit peppy...
Okay so I have a cool idea. I want to do a listing of 100 songs I like, one for each post, with youtube video if it's there.
Or I could just do a long list of a bunch of songs. Your choice.
Well, actually, nobody reads this... So it's my choice, but still... It's the thought that counts.
I'm super sorry that this was late, I got caught up in stuff...
A good book that I started reading is 'I'd tell you I love you, but then I'd have to kill you' by Ally Carter. It's about a girl who goes to spy school and... Well I don't want to spoil it or anything. Just read it, it's good.
Right now I'm listening to a lot of Vanessa Carlton. I probably have three CDs I want. The two by Vanessa Carlton, and Drastic Fantastic by KT Tunstall. I think I get hooked on new music every other week, yet I never tire of the old (dido, and fiona apple may be exceptions though, and Avril Lagvine, and, hmm maybe it's more than I think...)
You guys have no idea how much there is to talk about. If you're interested IM me. (Jen I would be rather happy if you did,;D)
Hmm, seems there's no center button either.

PS: If you haven't noticed I've changed some of the colors, nothing major, but still... :)

My name is Lisa: A short film
The Youtube awards winners have been announced. I didn't vote in all categories, but besides the commentary category, all of my picks won. My favorite film was 'My Name is Lisa' in the short films category. It is a Shelton Films production, that has made it to semifinals, and honorable mentions in other contests/awards as well. The story is basically about a girl coping with her mothers Alzheimers disease. I think it's rather heartbreaking, yet inspirational all the same. They're planning on making a Movie called my name is Lisa with the response they're getting to the short film.
This is going to stay rather short for now, but I'm updating tomorrow about a film I want to do myself. If you want a hint about it, read my fiction press story.
Lots of love (to friends, not random strangers),
Oceansurferg
Update: If you read this maybe two minuets ago, I forgot to put up the film, it's down below.

Panic isn't quite so Panicked anymore
If you know me well enough, then you should know of my liking of Panic at the Disco (formerly Panic! At the Disco). Their newest CD Pretty. Odd. came out yesterday. I don't have the CD, but I have listened to some songs. The fast pace of their other CD A fever you can't sweat out, has suddenly disappeared. It has been replaced with a 60s feel that has been compared to the Rolling Stones among many. This CD is definitely proving that they really are not an emo band (just as they claim). Many don't seem to realize that this is still Panic though. There is the same strange choice of topics and word choice - for example Nine in the Afternoon - and the vocals are the same (yes I know! It's just Oceansurferg being crazy as usual, but trust me, I think that with other singers, this band would be completely different sounding). I'd just like to give Panic a Bravo! For breaking out of emo label, and reforming in a way that most bands just cannot.
Now that that's out of the way, it's time for me to give you all some information about what's going on with me! Don't look so excited *sarcasm*. I have a fiction press account now, and have posted something already. Although it's a smaller group, I think my works will do better here, because it's my own work, and I'm much better at my own stuff then fanfiction. Oh, and if I haven't drilled it into your head already, my name there is Oceansurferg as well.
I'm also really excited about something I posted on HPFF that was posted yesterday. It's the story of Neville Longbottom *snickers* sorry, but the name Longbottom is funny. I think I'd be happier if she had kept their name to Pupp. But, anyways, the reason I'm so excited about this one is the amount of response I've gotten. To give you a scope, so far 32 people have read Annelise's one chapter (it was not set as abandoned until after two months), and two have reviewed, and no one's favored it. With The Boy Who Could Have Been I have gotten 30 reads, one review, and one favorite in 24 hours. I'd consider that a fair amount, wouldn't you? The amount of response has made me feel that I should write often on this one. I've already begun researching his childhood for the first half of the first chapter. The second half should be between a half and a whole of his first year. If I get a total of five reviews by the end of tomorrow, I promise to dedicate two hours to writing the story the next day.
While I was on HPFF today, I also found a story I had once read about a woman revisiting the cave that Tom took her to. She talks about being in love with him. Anyways, this made me go and look at who was actually taken to the cave. There's such a vague description about what happened here, that I decided to write a oneshot about it starring Amy B. and Dennis B. (cannon characters of no relation). If I decide it's worth working on it might take me about two good hours of work to put it in the queue.
I have also been playing a puzzle game called Bloxorz. I don't really know how to describe it, so check it out yourself by using google, or go to addicting games and then puzzles to play it. I'm on stage 31 right now (with no help! go me!) which I almost finished earlier, but then fell off on accident :(
More on music is my discovery of Death Cab for Cutie (almost completely discovered by everyone but me) My favorite song right now is Transatlanticism, which makes me imagine slow dancing with someone, not to mention it can put me to sleep, my main reason for listening to music.
I've also discovered Sara Bareilles, but I did that weeks ago, so it doesn't seem like much anymore.
So many more things have happened, but I really don't think that I need to put it all in, so...
From the girl who's dad thinks she should play the drums,

PS: This is very likely my longest post besides the copy and paste, go me!
Update: My post about the circles is actually longer than this, but to me this proves that I'm becoming wordier.

Circles aren't hopeless
If you were forced to communicate only with one of the following symbols which would it be? Draw a rectangle, a Z, a triangle, and a circle. Which would you choose? In the end this is a personality test, that our SS teacher showed us. Did you choose the rectangle? Then you're really intelligent. The Z? you're creative. The triangle is a leader. Well, what about the circles? Circles are apparently 'hopeless'.
I chose the circle this time round. Last time I easily eliminated the triangle and Z, and in the end I chose the rectangle. This time the same happened and I went with the circle. I'd forgotten that she'd done this to my old class before. I think she wasn't fair. Sure, that day my friend broke down in frustration with her situation with a project, not much earlier before we were given the 'test', and sure that other guy is prone to loud, frustrated arguments with the teacher, but we are NOT hopeless.
Sure, I am a procrastinator, and in a bit of a way I am 'hopeless', but isn't everyone? Doesn't everyone have their flaws? Aren't we all still great in our own means?
I looked as objectively as I could and found some similarities between us three circles. First we don't give up; we fight for what we believe in. We are all excellent writers (well, I've never read anything of the guy's but he does well in English.) And finally we are compassionate. and caring when it comes to others. We're the people who give the Z's inspiration to keep going. We're the ones who the triangles lead. We are there when the intelligent people come to a dead end. We're the ones who care for everyone else, and isn't that a personality trait?
I'm scraping that personality test's view on circles. Compassionate people are not 'hopeless'! Just because we put others before ourselves does not mean that we are somehow not proper people!
To many of you this little blogging blimp will mean nothing, but you're wrong. I want to prove that we circles are not hopeless and are instead compassionate. If you are a compassionate circle, I would love it if you left an online name (I will delete the real, or real looking ones) and said 'I am a compassionate circle!' it would make me a lot happier.
Also not to get too off topic, but while writing this I came up with something that the Hogwarts sorting hat might be interested in. You see, I believe that rectangles are Ravenclaws, Z's are Hufflepuffs, triangles are Gryffindors, and we circles are Slytherins.
Many of you would say that that makes it worse to be a circle, but there is something I like to call a Slytherin complex that you should be made aware about.
The Slytherin complex basically states some things you might have overlooked. First of all Rowling only introduces us to the worse Slytherins. This creates the illusion that all Slytherins are bad, and I will admit that most are. But Slytherins go into things with compassion for what they are doing, with the cunningness and other things to do it all. Most Slytherins goals aren't that good because households that seem to be ones for compasionate people are usually either really nice or really mean. In the wizarding world I think it is understandable that with power like that many do not do well with compassion for things. Look at Dumbledore! He was compassionate about gaining the Hallows but eventually realized that power and compassion for glorious yet bad things doesn't equal anything good.
Hmm you know I could probably write a book on this...
Anyway, I'm tired and have stuff to do tomorrow so...

Update: I remembered this fanfic that proves the Slytherin complex rather well. On HPFF it's called 'there once was a darkness' which follows an unknown slytherin in the same year as Harry.
Update 2: It's 'once there was a darkness' not 'there once was a darkness' sorry if you tried to read it, but didn't get it.

Guitar, UK, and other random things
Two consecutive days with two posts. Go me! Sorry it's just the randomness taking over... I'm actually supposed to be working on stuff, but I'm a procrastinator :) So what's stuff to talk about? Hmm... I know! Let's talk about colors, because I'm, like, a totally bored procrastinator! My fav color is green, but come on, who doesn't like green? Okay so maybe some people don't, but I do, so just live with it! Yeah, umm I can't think of anymore color stuff.
Okay, so I want to learn to play the guitar. Why? Because I'm tired of singing without music, because I hear the music in my head, but others just think I'm weird. Not that I'm offended. I take weird as a compliment because; weird means different, and if we weren't different then we would all be the same, and that would just be sucky. Man I'm lame, can't even swear in English properly. I can swear in other languages properly, but not in my first language.
Anyway back to what I was saying before. For my b-day I want a guitar, and one of those essential elements books for guitar, because it's REALLY easy to teach yourself with EE. And then once I've gotten past about halfway, more or less, in the book, I will buy this book from the UK's amazon that has KT's songs from Eye to the Telescope. They don't sell it on the American one.
You know, when I'm done with college I think I want to move there. I mean, the US is kinda just going down the drain. Plus I can pull off an English accent if I'm trying. Plus, to make a joke, I want to be an English teacher! Or a book reviewer, or a musician, or a high school band director. Yet again I find myself glad I'm not picking out a profession yet.

Phase ten, and YAY!!!
Today I have a quote!!!! It's a cheezy quote, yes, but it's a quote that I like. Here it is; If music be the food of love play on, play on - Shakespeare. Don't ask me what play because I have no damn clue. Anyway I like this quote because of two reasons, maybe three. First, because I like to sing a lot, and I'm really into playing my instrument, and I feel that a moment without music is a moment lost. The second reason is that I like romance fanfics. I despise romance novels, yet somehow I just can't live without the existence of romance HP fanfics.
On the topic of fanfics, I think that I'm slowly drifting away from my crazy addiction. So I'm getting a real life!!! YAY!! Go me!!
Now for the topic at hand... Phase Ten... Dun Dun Dun! I've discovered that it's really annoying when you have too many players. We were playing with six people today and it got so confusing. So my question to you, is... Does cheese make it easier to remember what's going on in a card game? And if so, can it be canned cheese? And what about crackers? End randomness.
You can FINALLY pre-order Forever Dawn on amazon. So that gets a yay! Umm more yay... My birthday is soon YAY! And umm, cheese is taking over the universe, YAY!
I've started using labels too. I plan to go and enter labels to every post...
From the girl who's dream is to make it onto the American Idol's top three, then blow it with a stupid mistake, yet still get a better record deal than the winner,
PS: Check out this song by KT below (It's the song that's been stuck in my head ever since I memorized the lyrics.
